Productivity Places Program
The Productivity Places Program is a joint initiave of the Australian Government and the Queensland Government.
Asset Training Australia has entered into a contract with the Queensland Government Department of Education and Training as a Preferred Provider of the following qualifications under the Productivity Places Program (PPP):
- Certificate II in Security Operations - (NO PLACES AVAILABLE)
- Certificate III in Security Operations - (NO PLACES AVAILABLE)
- Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management - (LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE)
Asset Training Australia was allocated a limited number of places in each of these qualifications for eligible Job Seekers (Certificate 2 and 3 in Security Operations) and eligible Existing Workers in the Security Industry (Certificate 4 in Security & Risk Management). The places contracted are intended to be available between October 2009 and December 2010 however the program may end sooner if all places are allocated to eligible applicants.
It is a condition of the contract that participants must be Queensland residents and complete the training at our Brisbane North or Gold Coast training centres. Other locations are not eligible in this phase of the program.

All contracted places for Certificate 2 and 3 in Security Operations were allocated during the period October and December 2010 due to an unexpected high demand for new workers in the Security Indusry. As a result there are NO FUNDED PLACES AVAILABLE FOR JOB SEEKERS.
Asset Training Australia has submitted a proposal to the Queensland Government on behalf of Employers, Employment Service Providers and Job Seekers in an attempt to secure more places for the remainder of 2010 however there is no guarantee that additional funding will be allocated. We recommend that Job Seekers capable of funding their own training take advantage of our competitive Fee-for-Service prices and/or utilise our Interest Free EZYPay Payment Plans to avoid delays in commencing their new career.
Limited places are still available for eligible Existing Workers to complete the Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management qualification fully funded under this program.
