TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

About this qualification

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment opens up a whole new world of opportunities for anyone seeking a professional career change. This entry level qualification for the Vocational Education and Training industry can lead to employment as a Trainer / Assessor in Public Training Organisations (eg. TAFE), Private Registered Training Organisations and in many other businesses that conduct workplace training and assessment.

Participants in this course will learn about the Vocational Education and Training industry, develop an extensive knowledge of training and assessment methods and gain practical skills to effectively deliver training and assessment programs. TAE40110 is the latest version of the well-known Training and Assessment qualification so participants can be assured that they will be receiving the most up-to-date information available.

Asset Training Australia’s Certificate IV in Training and Assessment includes a variety of training and assessment methods including classroom presentations, individual and team projects, case studies, written and oral questioning and self-paced study.


Course Outline

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification includes seven (7) core units and three (3) elective units. Our standard training program covers the following:

TAEASS401A Plan assessment activities and processes
TAEASS402A Assess competence
TAEASS403A Participate in assessment validation
TAEDEL401A Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
TAEDEL402A Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace
TAEDEL403A Coordinate and facilitate distance based learning*
TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction*
TAEDES401A Design and develop learning programs
TAEDES402A Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs
TAETAS401A Maintain training and assessment information*

*Alternate elective units may be available on request or if the participant is submitting an application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).


Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisite requirements for the selected units of competency however participants should have:

- language, literacy and numeracy skills at least equivalent to Year 12; and
- sufficient computer skills to research information and use a word processor


Delivery

This program has a blended deliver including a 5 day face-to-face workshop and supported self-paced study.


Cost

The cost of this qualification is $1200.
