Logan residents will soon be able to up-skill or change careers at the drop of a hat with a new breed of training provider moving into the shire. Asset Training Australia, who have over 10 years’ experience in training professionals in a range of areas have taken over the old Evocca site at Browns Plains.
Asset Training Australia will be starting their introductions by visiting local businesses and connecting with residents in the lead up to the opening of their doors on the 4th of October. Asset says that while they have always delivered quality training services to people right across Australia via their online learning methods and their various already established office locations, they have yet been able to replicate this same service in the Logan area, until now.
“We have been wanting to be able to deliver our services to residents in the Logan region for some time. A large number of our enquiries come from the area and with a number of staff who also live locally, it was a no-brainer that we move in.” Brooke Shellback, Marketing and Communications Officer for Asset says.
While they will be beginning their services with Security, First Aid and Justice of the Peace training, Asset won’t be stopping there with opportunities for training for those who are looking to be Work Health and Safety Reps plus a whole bunch of courses for the mining, construction and health industry.
“We hope to be able to assist residents in gaining the best possible training, for the best possible employment outcomes in the area. We pride ourselves on our support to students right through to the employment outcome stage. We also have a large range of options for businesses and their staff too”, Mark Costello, Managing Director of the company notes.
