Overview

CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations

If you are new to the industry you need to start with CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations which is currently available for enrolments.

The Certificate III in Security Operations course does not provide you with additional functions that you can add to your existing security licence. This qualification is for those in the industry who wish to gain further skills and for professional development.

This course will provide you with extra knowledge in the areas of:

  • patrolling
  • protecting and guarding property
  • screening entry
  • monitoring behaviour
  • removing persons from premises.

This qualification is suitable for Security Officers who wish to deepen and broaden their skills and knowledge in security operations and lead security teams in the field. It provides a pathway to further learning and work in various security roles and settings, including security risk management.

Security officers at this level provide leadership in a team environment, operate under limited supervision, and use discretion and judgement in known and unpredictable work contexts. Testimonial

“My name is Walter Hua and last year I was studying a security course with Spencer. He’s a really awesome teacher. He taught me well in the security course and answered all of my curious questions. I’m so proud to be an ASSET student. All of my classmates got a job and so did I!

I’m currently working for a great security company at a Brisbane venue. I’ve been spreading all the good words about studying security with Asset College. I would rate Asset college 100/100. I’m very impressed.”
