This qualification reflects the role of first medical response workers or volunteers who provide initial care to patients. These people provide basic first aid and emergency responses in the pre-hospital/out-of hospital environment.
On successful completion of this course students will receive a Certificate II in Medical Service First Response certificate. This will be suited to the following job roles:
There are no formal prerequisites required for this qualification. However, it is expected that participants have English language, literacy, and numeracy skills equivalent to at least Year 10 level.
Participants may choose to undertake an LLN assessment with one of our qualified assessors prior to committing to their enrolment in this qualification.

The Certificate II in Medical Service First Reponse includes a total of 9 units.
