Mandatory revalidation training including First Aid for Crowd Controllers and Bodyguards to maintain a Security Providers Licence.
Overview
**This course has online learning and assessment that must be completed prior to attending your face to face workshop.**
Anybody who holds a Security Providers Licence and is actively working in the security industry is required to complete Crowd Control refresher training in order to keep their skills and licence current.
This training must be completed every 3 years.
Students may also choose to undertake individual units depending on their licensing requirements. To determine the units that you may need to undertake, you can contact the Office of Fair Trading on 13 74 68 for confirmation.

Entry Requirements
In order to participate in this course, participants must meet the following criteria:
You will need access to a computer with an internet connection to complete the online component of this course.
Please be advised we are unable to train students on a student visa. You must find a CRICOS registered training provider.
Students must be physically capable of responding to first aid emergency scenarios, including providing CPR to a manikin on the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair or with other disabilities that may impact their participation in these activities should contact us to discuss their individual circumstances before enrolling.

We require all of the above to be completed and until all of these are received your spot is still tentative and therefore if the course becomes full, your booking may be moved.

Online + 2 days in class
Completion of the online assessment prior to attending your face to face workshop is mandatory. Should you not complete your online assessment, you will not be permitted entry to the face to face course. You will need to rebook and this will incur a rebooking fee of $50.
You should allow up to 8 hours to complete the online learning and assessment.

Assessment Re-Submission Fees
Should you be deemed not competent after 2 attempts at a unit of competency, an assessment re-submission fee of $50 will apply per assessment.
Security Licensing
QLD Security Providers licensing is administered by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).
Once students have successfully completed this revalidation training they will be provided with a Statement of Attainment (Certificate) and Statement of Results outlining the delivery and assessment methods for these units. It is the student’s responsibility to submit both of these documents to OFT in order to comply with their licence requirements.
Revalidation training must be completed in full; the Office of Fair Trading will not accept certificates where these units have been achieved through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Please keep in mind that there is a fee for renewing your Security Providers Licence.
