What happens if I fail the pre-course assessments for first aid, crowd control refresher or security?

Students at Asset College are required to complete one attempt at their first aid or crowd control refresher online assessments prior to attending face to face training.

How long does it take for my certificate to be issued?

Certificates take up to 2 weeks from the time your trainer marks your course as competent. In most cases, our team will get your certificate out to you much quicker than this.

Please make sure you have provided all required enrolment documents including your USI and you have received a competent result in all units of competency.

What is a credit transfer?

A credit transfer refers to the process of recognising and transferring credits earned for completed units of competency or modules from one vocational training program or institution to another. It allows individuals who have already completed certain units of competency to have those credits recognised when enrolling in a new program or institution.

When a person applies for credit transfer, the training provider or institution assesses their previous learning and determines if the competencies achieved in their prior study are equivalent to the competencies required in the new program. If the assessment determines that the learning outcomes and competencies align, the student is granted credit for those units, meaning they do not have to repeat the same content again.

The credit transfer process can save students time and effort by recognising their previous achievements and allowing them to progress more quickly through their vocational education. It also helps individuals who may have completed partial qualifications in the past to build on their previous learning and gain additional qualifications.

It’s important to note that the policies and procedures regarding credit transfer will vary between different vocational education and training (VET) providers and institutions in Australia.
