Manage Conflict Through Negotiation is a required unit in refresher training for licensed Security Professionals.
Security Officers and Crowd Controllers often respond to conflict situations and have to negotiate solutions to customer and/or patron disputes. Appropriate handling of these situations can prevent escalation to physical conflicts, which increase the risk to the security personnel and others.
While many Security Officers and Crowd Controllers are experienced at responding to and managing conflict situations, the Office of Fair Trading has determined that Security Providers who hold a Crowd Controller and/or Bodyguard licence function need to complete a re validation of their conflict management skills every 3 years.
This course is designed to reinforce the participant’s conflict management and negotiation skills and meet the requirements for renewing a Security Providers Licence in Queensland.
This course is designed for current working Security Providers who require revalidation training.
On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for CPPSEC3002A Manage Conflict Through Negotiation.
