Coronavirus update for bodyguards and crowd controllers licensees

Are you good in an emergency? Do you have the ability to stay calm and assist where needed while directing others to do the same? Improve your emergency management skills with advanced first aid.

This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The unit applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a Provide Advanced First Aid (Statement of Attainment).

Entry Requirements

Students must be physically capable of responding to first aid emergency scenarios, including providing CPR to a manikin on the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair or with other disabilities that may impact their participation in these activities should contact us to discuss their individual circumstances before enrolling.

Delivery Options

This course is delivered face to face over 2 workshop days 8.30am – 5.00pm. Students will also be required to complete online components of this course prior to and after attending the workshop.
