Accounts Supervisors oversee the financial operations of a company and take care of scheduling jobs and delegating duties to accounting department workers. They secure financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting, and auditing.
Aside from supervising staff, they assess the accuracy of accounting data and keep track of records and processing transfers. They also perform basic accounting functions such as logging payments and maintaining financial records. Accounts Supervisors carry out financial auditing procedures and are the ones tasked to communicate with outside financial institutions.
Given their role, Accounting Supervisors must be able to effectively communicate with people and maintain positive working relationships.
