Description of Role

Clerical Workers are employed in a wide range of industries, where they are expected to apply their organisational and office skills to fulfil the needs of a business and to ensure efficient operation of their department or office.

They performs tasks that include but not limited to filing, updating of databases, photocopying and scanning of documents, sorting out post, research and information gathering. They are also tasked to do record-keeping, minor book-keeping and scheduling of appointments.

A number of Clerical Worker jobs start off as an entry level position but often expand to a more complex career role with experience.
