Description of Role

Frontline Sales Assistants are responsible for customer service typically in retail environments in both sales and service businesses.

Frontline Sales Assistants are the first thing a customer sees when they enter a business or a store so must display the vision, mission and beliefs of the company through personal presentation and how they hold themselves representing the business.

Day to day activities will always involving interacting with customers, answering their questions, having good knowledge of the products they are selling as well as being able to calmly handle customer complaints.

The role may also involve handling cash, using EFTPOS machines and accounting software to process sales as well as end of day till-balancing procedures.
