Human Resources Advisors deliver advice on the recruitment, care and treatment of employees and clients. They are also responsible for the delivery of a full range of human resources services, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
In addition to giving advice, their usual responsibilities include conducting job evaluations, coordinating appointment process for successful applicants, negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff and maintaining updated HR information.
Human Resource Advisors should have knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures, as well as best practices in staff recruitment and selection. Verbal and written communication and presentation skills are likewise essential to this role.
