Description of Role

Office Juniors work closely with many people in an organisation as they help ensure the smooth running of the office. They do this by performing functions such as but not limited to screening incoming calls, managing posts and emails, greeting visitors, filing, booking travel requirements and scheduling meeting room use.

Office Juniors also look after the health and safety, supplies control, general office tidiness and maintenance of office equipment for staff and clients. At times, they may be asked to assist the secretarial and reception teams by covering for staff who might be sick or on lunch break.

Office Juniors are usually studying business administration qualifications while carrying out their role. Being an Office Junior is a good career in it’s own right and is an excellent way of getting relevant office experience that can help one progress in other administrative or secretarial careers.
