Description of Role

Quality and Improvement Consultants provide expert advice on improvement projects and initiatives affecting safety, timeliness, effectiveness, efficiency, equity and customer-centeredness. They identify major problems in the quality system process, develop and present new and effective solutions to management and arrange and report quality data.

Quality and Improvement Consultants must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, computer proficiency, ability to manage time sensitive projects and meet deadlines and ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships.

Quality and Improvement Consultants are commonly required to have skills in statistics, program evaluation, quality improvement, quality assurance, and operations management.
