Description of Role

Quality Assurance Coordinators are tasked to ensure that products and services adhere to an established quality standard. As such, they are responsible for statistical sampling, testing validity and discovering errors with products in order to correct them before the product reaches the consumers.

Most Quality Assurance Coordinators work in a business setting. Depending on the industry, their work may include data analysis, listening to representative phone calls, overseeing production and manufacturing and performing tests. They may also oversee and train personnel engaged in quality assurance review.

They must also have experience and extensive knowledge of relevant quality standards, verbal and written communication skills, project management skills and proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software.
