School Principals are in charge of setting and maintaining the academic standard of an educational institution and implement policies and procedures to carry out established goals. They also offer instructional leadership and handle the daily functions of the school.

The role of a School Principal is essential to the effective and efficient functioning of an educational environment. They manage the school staff and faculty, monitor the development of the institution and track student progress. School Principals may also design new programs and restructure established programs to suit the needs of the students.  Resolution of budgetary issues, staff and student recruitment, parental advice and community involvement likewise fall under their responsibilities.
