Senior Administrators help set goals, policies and strategies for departments and organisations. Their key tasks include overseeing budgets and approving major expenses, negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers, analysing sales and financial reports and discerning ways to cut costs and improve profits.
Given the nature of their job, Senior Administrators are expected to demonstrate the ability to communicate, engage and negotiate with others. They also need to possess organisational, analytical and time management skills. It is also desirable for Senior Administrators to have leadership sills as they may supervise and liaise with staff.
