Senior Educator – Teaching and Learning, Training Organisation

Description of Role

Senior Educators assist in the development and implementation of teaching and training strategies to improve teaching capability and learning outcomes in an organisation. They provide learning programs and support the implementation of innovative practices in course and assessment design.

Senior Educators have experience in learning and teaching, educational development and/or course and assessment design in a VET setting. They hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, in addition to other relevant qualifications, licences and experience.

Ideally, Senior Educators have excellent subject knowledge and are hardworking, enthusiastic and professional in the performance of their role.  They must also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Those who are successful are known to have the ability to adjust to dynamically changing priorities and a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and resources with competing priorities and timelines and innovate and learn new tools and processes
