What if my evidence for RPL is confidential or private?
We understand that some evidence cannot be shared in full. Our assessors can provide strategies such as redacting sensitive details or using simulated examples. All staff follow our privacy policy and have signed non-disclosure agreements. We can also sign additional NDA’s if required by your organisation.
Can I use international evidence for RPL?
Yes, provided it is in English or accompanied by a certified translation. Additional information may be required to validate authenticity.
What happens if I don’t get full RPL?
You will receive partial recognition where possible, and any fees paid will be credited towards study options.
Can I partially RPL and partially study?
Yes. Where full recognition is not possible, you may study the remaining units to complete your qualification.
What about credit transfers for RPL?
If you have previously completed identical or equivalent units (as listed on training.gov.au), these will be applied as credit transfers before assessing RPL evidence.
I don’t know what qualification I want to RPL. Can I still apply?
Yes. If you’re unsure, complete a Free Skills Assessment and our assessors will recommend suitable qualifications.
Is the Free Skills Assessment really free?
Yes. There’s no cost and no obligation to continue.
How long does Skill Assessment take?
Completing the form usually takes less than 5 minutes. Our assessors normally respond within 2 business days.
Do I need to upload documents now for the Skill Asessment?
Yes. Please upload a copy of your resume or current position description. This helps our assessor understand your work history and whether your experience aligns with the qualification you’re requesting. If you proceed with RPL, you’ll need to provide more detailed evidence later.
I don’t know what qualification I want. Can I still submit a Free Skills Assessment?
Yes. If you’re unsure, you can still complete the Free Skills Assessment. Our assessor will review your work history and make recommendations on qualifications that may be suitable for you.
Will I get RPL after this assessment?
Not necessarily. The Free Skills Assessment is an initial guide only. A full RPL application requires evidence and further assessment before any outcome can be confirmed.
What happens after I submit the Skill Assessment form?
Our assessor will review your information and contact you with a personalised recommendation.
