About the Logan Central area

Welcome to Logan Central! If you’re visiting Asset College’s new office at 17 Station Road, you’re in for a treat. Not only does this area boast a vibrant atmosphere, but it’s also filled with exciting things to do, see, and eat.

Logan Central is located south of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. It’s approximately a 30-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD.

To the southeast of Logan Central lies the famous Gold Coast, known for its stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and theme parks. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Logan Central.

Springwood is a neighboring suburb of Logan Central. It’s known for its commercial and industrial areas, as well as its proximity to natural attractions like Springwood Conservation Park.

Another nearby suburb, Daisy Hill, is home to Daisy Hill Conservation Park, which offers bushwalking trails and picnic areas.

Slacks Creek is located to the east of Logan Central. It’s known for its industrial areas and is bordered by the beautiful Slacks Creek, which flows into the Logan River.

Kingston is situated to the south of Logan Central. It’s a residential suburb with various amenities and parks, including the popular Kingston Park Raceway.

Getting to Logan Central

By Car:

  1. Pacific Motorway (M1): The most direct route from the northside of Brisbane to Logan Central is via the Pacific Motorway (M1). Follow signs for the M1 southbound and continue on this motorway until you reach the exit for Logan Central. Take the appropriate exit and follow the signs to reach your destination.
  2. Logan Motorway: Another option is to take the Logan Motorway, which provides access to Logan Central from various points in Brisbane’s northside. Access the Logan Motorway from the Gateway Motorway (M1) or other major arterial roads, and then follow the signs towards Logan Central.

By Public Transportation:

  1. Train: The Queensland Rail City network provides train services from Brisbane’s northside to Logan Central. Depending on your location, you may need to travel to a nearby train station such as Roma Street Station, Central Station, or other stations along the Northern or Ferny Grove lines. From there, you can catch a train heading towards Loganlea Station or Woodridge Station, both of which are close to Logan Central. Check the TransLink website for train schedules and service updates.
  2. Bus: TransLink operates several bus routes that connect Brisbane’s northside to Logan Central. You can catch a bus from various locations, including busway stations such as Chermside, Toombul, or Cultural Centre, which offer convenient transfers to routes heading towards Logan Central. Use the TransLink journey planner to find the best bus route and schedule for your trip.

By Ride-Sharing or Taxi:

If you prefer not to drive or use public transportation, ride-sharing services such as Uber or taxis are also available for transportation from Brisbane’s northside to Logan Central. Simply request a ride through the app and input your destination address.

What’s on offer at Asset College Logan Central?

The Logan campus is customised for our practical security training courses and in-person short courses with areas for practical training and defensive tactics as well as traditional classroom settings.

At our Logan campus we have some wonderful facilities for students. The campus has an administration area, training rooms, customised classrooms and a student kitchen. We have a computer lab and a large practical facility area used to complete defensive tactics training. Join us at our Logan campus for courses on security, first aid and hospitality.
