At Asset College, we support young adults to enter the security workforce with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. If you’re 18 or older and ready to work, this could be the start of something long-term.
Age Requirements: You Must Be 18 to Get a Licence
In every state and territory of Australia, you must be at least 18 years old to apply for a security licence.

- You may be able to enrol in training as you approach your 18th birthday
- But you cannot complete your licence application or start work until you turn 18
