Courses in cyber security will assist in preparing the future cyber professionals.
Short courses in cyber security
If you’re not sure about whether a cyber security pathway is for you, you can start with short bursts of training!
In this skill set you will study two units. They cover how you can contribute to cyber security threat assessments as well as contributing to the risk management requirements of cyber security.
In this skill set you will study four units. The units cover:
- Protecting your own personal online profile from threats
- How to identify and report online security threats
- Securely managing personally identifiable information, as well as that of your workplace
- Promoting and engaging others in the workplace to be cyber secure
The great thing about skill sets is that you can then use the units of competency that you have achieved as credit transfers towards full nationally recognised qualifications. So long as the training package allows it!
